There is an Open Data Manchester meetup at Madlab on Edge Street, Manchester on Tuesday 30th November at 6.30 pm
http://madlab.org.uk/content/open-data-manchester-4/
Come along if you are interested in doing stuff with, or getting hold of Open Public Data. At the moment, with the cold weather coming we are trying to get hold of Gritter information.
There will Christopher Osborne from ITO World will be showing some of the stuff that they have been doing Open Street Map and various bits of transport data and Ric Roberts will talking about Linked Data.
There have been a lot of developments over the last couple of months especially with the mooted Greater Manchester Datastore.
Cheers
Julian
